Got a call from someone speaking with an American accent claiming to be from HMRC. They told me to press 1 on my phone, but I didn’t. The call ended abruptly after that. They mentioned I’d supposedly received a certified letter at my home (which I definitely didn’t) and said there was a warrant for my arrest. From what I’ve read on the official GOV.UK site, that’s rubbish and wouldn’t happen. Seems like a total con. Watch out for these ones!
