Got a weird call from some robotic bloke saying he was from Her Majesty’s tax department, warning me about legal trouble if I didn’t send back some forms they supposedly emailed. Thing is, I never got any email from HMRC. The voice was clearly American, and honestly, Her Majesty’s passed away. I hung up pretty quick, but I’m sure it would’ve ended with them asking for personal info or to click a suspicious link. Definitely a total scam.
