Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was some dodgy stuff happening on my PC. I pretended I was clueless and wasted a good chunk of their time. When I asked if they wanted to remote into my computer to "fix" things, they said yes. They also tried to find out what I mainly use my computer for, which felt like they were fishing for my banking info or something dodgy like that. Ended the call by telling them I was busy. Fingers crossed they lost some time trying to rip off some poor person.
