Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC. They sounded quite legit at first, but their accent was a bit off. They even mentioned my name and the company I work for. They told me I owed HMRC money and gave some case number and warrant ID. I almost believed them, but luckily the call dropped and I got time to ring my accountant to check if it was real. Turns out it was a scam.
