On the 5th of June, 2023 at 2:06 pm, I got a call that turned out to be an HMRC scam. A recorded message, spoken by a woman with a sort of mixed accent, said that post sent to my last registered address was returned and warned that “legal proceedings will begin really soon”. They then tell you to press 1 to chat with an officer. It’s such a classic scam, yet I guess it could scare a few people.
