I got a call on my landline from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. He told me my internet settings had switched from private to public and were now unsafe. I had another call like this one last week, which I already reported to BT, and a woman there assured me they'd handle it. I just blocked the number this time. Pretty sure it’s just the same scam but using another phone number. He tried to get me to look it up on Google so he could ‘fix’ it for me, but no thanks!
