I got a call from this strange number (07477 071568), saying someone tried to withdraw nearly £1000 from my bank through Remitley (which, just so you know, is a real company). They even left me a voicemail - but it was one of those automatic messages. They urged me to ring their “Customer Protection Team” on the same number straight away to fix the problem. Basically, they were trying to trick me into handing over my bank info by pretending to help. Honestly, this kind of thing makes me feel so fed up with how society is nowadays.
