Im a bit concerned atm, been gettin calls from this number and they promised they wouldnt bother me anymore after I blocked the details on my EE sim.

Got a call from someone named Sam Williams, who said he was from Citizens Advice but hid his number. He went on about me having loads of debts. I told him I’m only 16, and he just ended the call right away.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming I owed £6,000 and said he was from the Citizens Advice Bureau to sort it out. I told him I didn’t owe anything to anyone, but he kept insisting I did. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Definitely a dodgy scam. Never share your info unless you’re sure it’s someone legit and you’re waiting for their call.

Got a call from some dodgy Asian outfit pretending to be from a government agency. Had a lot to do with unsecured debts or something. Tried to catch what the guy was saying, but poor Peter’s English was awful, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. Sorry, Peter Patel!

Some bloke from India claiming to be from the CAB, talking about debts. Proper rude and nasty, even got threatening. Wouldn’t hang up, then rang back just to be even more horrible - what a tosser! I’m pregnant and felt so upset by his behaviour. Do yourself a favour and block this number if they ring you. They try hard to get your info and don’t accept a no for an answer.

Just like the other person said, this guy claimed I owed money and was paying it off every month. I told him that wasn’t true at all. Then he just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now. It was an Indian bloke and he actually knew my name.

someone said they were ringing from citizen advice. ive done work and volunteering with them and they wouldnt usually call like this. it definitely seems dodgy. by saying theyre linked to citizen advice, folks might get tricked into thinking its proper.

Claimed to be a solicitor affiliated with Citizens Advice, stating that I had outstanding payments and needed to provide my bank details for payment collection. When I pressed for clarification on what the payment was for, they abruptly ended the call. Just a heads up-don't pick up this number, as it incurs charges to your phone bill!
