Got a call from someone, likely in India using a fake number, saying they were from BT Open Reach about my internet. I told them I wasn’t with Open Reach. They insisted that all providers work through BT Open Reach, but I shot back “no they don’t” and we ended up in a silly back-and-forth for a bit before they hung up. It was kinda amusing, but I hate that these dodgy scammers still manage to fool people now and then. OFCOM really needs to ban spoofed phone numbers for good.
