The number was unfamiliar, so I decided to ignore the call and let it ring out. Later, I received a voicemail claiming that my card had been used for large purchases on Amazon and another site whose name I couldn’t quite catch. The message urged me to press 1 to report the transaction or 2 to approve it. I didn’t do either. Felt like someone was trying to scam me out of money. I checked my bank accounts, and there were no unusual charges. My banking app normally sends alerts when authorisation is needed. Seems like a scam targeting bank details, but it hasn’t been widely reported yet.
