Received a message earlier saying something about a PCN for my car and that if I don’t sort it soon, they’ll either take my vehicle or slap on an extra 200% fee. Don’t have a clue what it’s referring to - pretty sure it’s just a scam trying to scare me.

Just had a call on my home phone from this number earlier today. It was a recorded message claiming over £300 was spent on Amazon and over £1000 overseas using my bank card. A few days ago, I got the same automated message from a 01429 landline. It’s obvious they’re trying to fish for banking info. I might be elderly but I’m not daft!

At about 09:27 on Tuesday the 22nd of August 2023, I received a call from the number 07476 920827, which I didn’t recognise. It was an automated message with an American accent claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. The message said HMRC was going to start legal proceedings against me and told me to press a button to talk to someone about it. Thinking it was likely a scam trying to scare or trick me, I just ended the call.
