Someone tried to get into my Deliveroo account recently. They wanted to add this address: Flat 4, 97a Southwark Street, SE10JE, and used the number 07476 492904. They even tried to place an order worth around £40 twice, but luckily both got cancelled.

Beware, got scammed! Someone hacked into my account and ordered from Deliveroo, then charged my card. The delivery was sent to 203 Victoria Rd, North Acton, London, W36BT. The phone number linked to the order was +44 7476 492904.

If you get a call or text from a scam number, make sure to text the details to 7726 and then block the number. When loads of people report the same number, your mobile network flags it as dodgy. Scam messages should be sent on to 7726 too. If you’re able, take a screenshot and email it to the police at '[email protected]' so they can look into it more. Same goes for scam emails - forward them there as well. If you accidentally shared your bank info, contact your bank straight away and let the police know too. Dial 101 in Scotland, or 0300 123 2040 if you’re elsewhere in the UK.

This number rang me again this morning, even after I blocked it - the calls just keep coming through. The bloke on the line had a strong Indian accent and claimed he was from Public Health England, asking if I’m fully vaccinated. When I asked for his name, he said it was Sam. I requested his full name, and he went with Sam Martin. Then, when I asked if Sam Martin was from India, he admitted he was indeed from there. I pushed further, asking his real name, and he suddenly said Govinda! I then questioned why he’d given me the name Sam Martin from Public Health England, and just hung up.
