I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, asking me how long I've been working. I'm a carer, so I stayed on the line and asked what he needed. He just said "nothing" and then suddenly hung up. Very strange.

This is definitely a scam. If you get calls like this, make sure to report them to the police so they can take action. I just answered a call and there was nothing but silence, so I looked them up here.

Got a call earlier today, said a voicemail was left but all I could hear were some Asian voices chatting away in the background, no actual message at all. After reading other reviews here, I decided to block the number just to be safe.

Chatted with my hubby about those gay oil massages, but by then it was too late. We're now £1500 in the red and our kids don’t even have enough to eat in their lunchboxes. Hubby always said it wasn’t true, but guess what, it really is.

They said they were with the Department of Health and Social Care, but then I asked why they were ringing from a mobile number. They insisted it wasn’t a mobile, but obviously, it was. They were checking if I’d already had the covid jab. Bit strange really.

I got a ring from someone saying they were from the UK government checking on my covid vaccine. I asked why they didn’t just check my NHS files instead and then they suddenly just ended the call. I only picked up cause I was waiting on another number!

Someone rang me up saying they're from Public Health England, but they used my old maiden name, which I haven't gone by in over a decade. That’s how I knew for sure they must have found my number from another source!

Got a call from someone saying they were with the UK Department of Health. They started asking me about the Covid vaccine and any side effects I might’ve had, then quickly moved on to questions about my health insurance. I got suspicious when they couldn’t say a pretty familiar last name properly, and also because there’s no such Department like that. When I called them out on it being a scam, they just hung up on me.

I received a rather unexpected phone call where the person on the other end inquired whether I was fully vaccinated for Covid. After that, they shifted the conversation to my life insurance, wanting to know which provider I used. I informed them that my coverage is arranged through my employer. They then proceeded to probe about private life insurance, but I mentioned I was swamped with work and couldn't engage further. Despite my clear reluctance, they continued their questioning. I ultimately chose to hang up and block their number. The entire exchange left me feeling a bit uneasy, to say the least.

I foolishly provided them with my name when they requested someone else's! They were curious about my vaccination status, to which I blithely revealed that I'm unvaccinated. When I probed about the purpose of the call, they mentioned it was linked to insurance and health matters but didn’t pursue the conversation any deeper. Quite the curious interaction, if I’m honest!
