My phone rang from the number 07476498987, and it was an automated message pretending to be HMRC. The caller said I'd supposedly sent back some legal papers to them and warned that if I didn’t sort it out, legal steps would follow. They asked me to PRESS 1 to talk to someone, but I didn’t press anything and hung up straight away. I’ve contacted HMRC to let them know and left a voicemail asking about the call.
