I strongly recommend that everyone consider blocking this bogus HMRC number. It's clearly spoofed! I received a pre-recorded message alleging that I was involved in tax fraud and attempting to intimidate me with threats of legal repercussions. Quite the scare tactic they've got going on!

This has got to be a scam, someone pretending to be from HMRC said they were going to take legal steps against me.

Got a call from someone trying to scam me, asking for my personal details. I’d say just end the call straight away and put their number on block. Definitely not worth chatting to.
