4 yearsOn 16/11/2022 I got a call from someone claiming to be my son. He said his phone was out of action and that he was ringing from a mate’s number, then gave me the number he used before. He asked if I could send him £800 for a laptop he’d already put a deposit down on, promising to repay me within a couple days. He also said his bank was down for a couple of days because he was updating his details. Totally fishy if you ask me.4 years16/11/2022 I got a call from someone claiming to be my son. He said his phone was out of order and that he was borrowing a mate’s number. He even gave me what he said was his old number. He asked me to send £800 for a laptop deposit, promiseing he’d pay me back in a couple of days. Mentioned his bank account was ‘frozen’ for two days because he was switching bank details.
