They called me but I didn’t pick up. I looked up the number straight away and after reading these reviews, I’m definitely going to block it!

Got a text from some bloke claiming they’re handing out free cosmetics if I text back or ring them with the word ‘velocity’ to score free treats and fags. Had to block the number straight away - definitely a scam!

They claimed they found my contact on TripAdvisor and warned me that if I didn’t identify myself, they’d ring the cops. The caller was really rude, shouting loads of nasty swear words. I tried calling back but got no response, felt quite intimidated by the whole thing. I’ve blocked the number since then.

so this number 07474820033 called me, and weirdly they already knew my name, my boyfriend’s name, my address, and even my age. but when i asked who they were and how they got my number, they just kept quiet and didn’t pick up when i tried calling back. felt really shady and a bit scary. i ended up reporting it to the police just to be safe.

They claimed I called them first, but I hadn’t at all. I asked who was trying to reach me, and they just kept spamming me with the middle finger emoji - must’ve received more than 50 from them. Ended up blocking the number.

Can you believe someone ringing me up at 9 on a Sunday night? Proper oddball, started having a go at me and wouldn’t say where they found my number. Total weirdo! 😂 I just blocked them straight away and told the police cos they kept pestering me when I didn’t pick up for some random stranger. What a nutter!
