I got caught up in one of those fake recruitment scams recently. Blocking the number doesn’t really help because these fraudsters have loads of randomly created numbers from all over the globe to keep trying. The best thing to do is report them straight away. If you get scam emails, send them over to ‘[email protected]’. You can forward dodgy texts to ‘7726’, and if you get silent calls or other scammy phone activity, text ‘7726’ with the details. I reckon this is a con. They claim to have a work-from-home job with Odeon Cinemas but you won't find anything like it on Odeon's official site. If you do get sent to their website, definitely have a look it up on Trustpilot before putting in any details. Trustpilot was the only place I found any reviews or info about that site the scammers used.
