Got a call from this number saying it was Amazon, claiming I’d made a £900 purchase which definitely wasn’t true. They wanted me to open the app and verify the order to cancel it. Luckily, I was with a mate who works as an Amazon admin and he said Amazon never calls customers from mobile numbers like this. I ended the call straight away and reported it to the police.
