Got a call claiming I had debt for some 'cyber safe' guide. Once I told the woman on the line they were total scammers, she just cut me off straight away.

I got a call from someone who didn’t even give their name. They said my little business had agreed to sponsor a group producing a booklet titled cyber safe for schools. They mentioned they already had the books ready and wanted me to pay £5000, which they said I had promised. When I questioned them about it, they just hung up straight away.

Some woman called me yesterday saying I’d apparently signed up for some cyber safety guide; she then started going on about the NHS and schools. It’s one of those old scams, but I suppose some folks still get taken in. She kept insisting I had agreed to it.
