Got quite a few calls from this number on my mobile, but I never picked up. I usually only answer the house phone when I’m actually at home.

this guy from india rang me up saying I’m under investigation for some ni fraud. I gave him a mouthful and asked if they honestly believe smart people would fall for such rubbish. then I just cut the call.

Someone messaged me on WhatsApp pretending to be a family member and told me to save their number. After about ten minutes, they asked if I'd saved it yet. I asked who they were, and they just said, "I'll give you three guesses." Didn't hang about after that and blocked them straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the government. They said if there’s any damage on my property, I could be owed £10,000 since I’m a good tenant who always pays on time. Then, they asked for my email address. Seemed a bit fishy to me!

Got a text from this number pretending to be 02 saying there was a problem with paying my last bill and asking me to update my payment details. But I’d just received the real bill the day before through the official 02 app and a proper text from them. Definitely don’t trust this number or tap any links they send you.

Just like the other comment mentioned, the caller insisted my O2 info was incorrect and that I had to update it. Thing is, I’m not even an O2 customer, so I knew straight away it had to be a scam. Plus, when I checked the website they sent, it was definitely a dodgy link. Avoid for sure!
