Got a call from someone saying they were with Amazon, saying there had been weird activity on my account. They mentioned a £300 gift card had been bought and told me to look at my emails right away to prevent any money being taken. I ended the call, but they rang back again. When I answered, the man with what sounded like an Indian accent tried the same story, but I told him I wasn’t falling for it and suspected it was a scam. If I’d gone along with it, I reckon they’d have tried to get access to my Amazon account - classic fraud move these days.
