Last night, I kept getting calls from this number and others like it. I really don’t think any legit company would be ringing me in the UK this late - it’s probably just some scam coming from India.

Got a recorded phone call from some Indian boiler-room scam saying my internet was being used for dodgy stuff and that my provider was about to cut me off. They told me to press 1 if I want help sorting it out - yeah, sure, as if I’d give them any bank details. It’s been over a day and my connection’s still fine. If Virgin Media actually had an issue, I’m pretty sure they’d get in touch directly. Also, there’s no way they can know what I’m doing online since all my browsing is protected by a VPN.
