Got a call demanding £365, made me suspicious straight away. Definitely don’t engage with this one, it’s just another scam trying to pull a fast one.

I got a text from this mobile number about a passcode for a purchase, saying it was from Santander, but people say it might actually be a different bank’s scam. The message said to ring another number, but that one doesn’t seem to work either. Both numbers are dead ends. Here’s what came through from +44 7469 964362: Your One Time Passcode is 03604 for a £345.00 transaction at John Lewis. If this isn’t your order, they asked to call 03301654372 - which I tried but no luck. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a dodgy text from a number saying it was a code for £345 spent at John Lewis. They told me to ring the number if I didn’t make the purchase. I haven't called any of the numbers mentioned.
