Got a call claiming my BT line was about to be disconnected. Sounded a bit dodgy to me so I just hung up without saying a word and blocked the number straight away. Best not to engage with these kinds of scams.

at first, a woman said she was calling from BT about our slow internet, which was actually happening. she then told me to get on my computer, but i didn’t, and just fibbed about it. next, she started asking about the keys on my keyboard before handing me over to someone else because i was using a mac. he then asked if he was talking to the homeowner, i said no, and things got nasty quickly. he shouted at me quite rudely and then abruptly ended the call with, “i don’t care, goodbye.” so, i just hung up after that.

Got a call but no voicemail left. Just another one of those dodgy cheating scammers.

Some guy called claiming he was from BT, saying my internet had been hacked for days. Funny thing is, I just moved and haven’t even got internet set up yet. Didn’t know what to say to that.
