I didn't answer the call, but later noticed a voicemail was left. It was a brief message with a robotic voice saying "national insurance police, press 1". I obviously ignored it and have since blocked the number and deleted the message.

I got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying they had a warrant to cancel my NI number. Totally fishy and stressful! Don’t trust that kind of phone call.
