I got a call lasting about 15 minutes from this number, they mentioned my name and an advert in some military magazine. Supposedly I owe them for not paying for nine editions of the quarterly mag or something. When I was put on hold briefly, I kept chatting and then was told the call was being recorded - which they hadn’t mentioned before. I asked a couple of times for confirmation of the amount owed, the company name, and the caller’s identity, but then they abruptly cut me off and hung up.

After being put on hold briefly, they suddenly said the call was being recorded because I spoke while waiting. I pointed out they hadn’t informed me of that earlier. I asked twice for confirmation of the amount, the company, and the caller’s name, but before I got an answer, they just disconnected on me.

So this bloke Derek White claims to work for Northampton County Court, but trust me, he’s totally fake. He’s ringing from a number I’ve never seen before, and it’s clearly part of a known scam running around. At first, he sounds all friendly and convincing, but as soon as you start asking things, he turns nasty and starts getting abusive. Definitely one to avoid!

I recently encountered someone claiming to be a Court official going by the name "Derek White." However, I can assure you he's not legitimate. This is a well-known scam, albeit one that frequently shifts its phone numbers.

After being put on hold briefly, they suddenly told me the call was being recorded, even though I'd been speaking while waiting and they hadn’t mentioned that earlier. I asked them for the exact amount owed, the name of the company, and the caller's name - twice. Then, out of nowhere, they just cut the call. Very dodgy!
