Today, 3rd March 2025, at about 9:43 in the morning, I got a call on my home phone from 07468 5950760, which popped up as a nuisance caller. I was busy on my computer at the time, so didn’t pick up. I’m in Nottingham and have already put this number on my block list.

My BT call blocker caught 5 calls from this number today. I tried ringing it back, thinking it might be something urgent, but it was busy. From what I’ve seen in other comments about this number, it looks like it’s just survey calls.

This number's rung me up about 4 times within the last 90 minutes! Luckily, my answering machine picks up first, so the pest caller ditches the call, realising no-one’s answering! I never pick up if I don’t recognise the number. It shows as international on my phone, then that number pops up. Did a quick Google search and found sites like this one. When will the government stop these calls, slap fines on the companies, and give us all a break!?

Got four calls today from a fake number. Turns out it’s a call centre in India doing a so-called “survey”. But really, it’s just a trick to sell your data to utility firms and the like. The call centre there gets paid and you just end up with more junk calls. Brilliant.

This is the fourth time I've had a call from this number today. Honestly, I'm so annoyed. They keep asking the same stuff, like how old my washing machine is, if I've got a Sky dish, and if I have life insurance. I'd never use Sky's services anyway, they must be getting the survey company to make these calls, so they're all just part of the annoying robocall problem.

Got a call from someone named John Osborne, but his accent was really thick and Asian. My husband told him he wasn’t interested in doing a survey, yet the bloke rang back an hour later and ended up chatting with me. He asked how old I was, then how long we’d had our washing machine. I said 27 years, hoping that’d put off insurance companies trying to sell me appliance cover. Then he asked what my favourite colour was, which seemed completely pointless, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from this number earlier but they cut off as soon as my voicemail kicked in. We only shared our new number with close family and our doctor, so I’m guessing it’s another scam. Anyone legit who has the number would leave a message, right? Each caller claimed they were from a different company - a couple said they were with Microsoft, one said Consumer Life, and the last guy couldn’t even say where he was from, just tried to keep me talking. All sounded Indian, which is pretty common as I get calls from that region around 7-9 times daily. I reckon the last call was to check if anyone was around. Honestly, if they ever came to the door, they’d have a bad time with my dogs and me, since I’m disabled but still wouldn’t hesitate to defend myself. :-)
