It's strange there wasn’t any message left, especially when someone’s trying to get in touch with me.

I answered and this robot voice started saying "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs..." so I just ended the call. For starters, HMRC never ring you out of the blue with an automated message, they definitely dont use a mobile to call, plus it's HIS Majesty now, not Her Majesty. These scammers are just hopeless.
