I got a call claiming to be from Coinstats (bit confusing, could be I misunderstood) saying my account holding a lot in bitcoin was frozen and I had to take action. Total nonsense! Definitely a scam.

Don’t pick up calls from this number, it’s annoying and keeps bothering me.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian or Indian, saying he was calling from Barclaycard. But as soon as i sounded a bit suspicious, he just cut the call. Guess he got a bit spooked or something.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from British Gas and N Power aimed at businesses. The guy had an Indian accent which was tricky to catch. When I asked where exactly he was calling from, despite the UK mobile number, he said Manchester. So I tested him by asking the two biggest football teams in Manchester - he totally blanked. He kept dodging the question so I pressed again about his location and then he suddenly said India. Realising he was caught out, he passed the call to someone else. I told them straight it was a scam and blocked the number immediately.

Got a call claiming to be from British Gas and they wanted my card details. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
