I just got a text from this number that’s exactly like a scam message I saw mentioned in a Which? article about the 'Hi Mum and Dad' scam going from WhatsApp to texts. It said something like, "Hi mum, I'm using a mate’s phone because I’ve broken mine and theirs is about to die, can you WhatsApp me on my new number please." Seemed really fishy straight away.
