It sounded like some bloke from a call centre trying to book a Covid vaccine. As far as I know, they only get in touch through letters or text messages, so I just ended the call and figured it was a scam. Also, I’m not old enough for the jab yet. Best to steer clear.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent who started by asking if I'd caught covid or had the vaccine, then quickly moved on to questions about my life insurance, saying I might qualify for covid-related grants or payouts. I told him to prove he was from the NHS by giving me two details from my NHS account, since he kept insisting it was to update their records. After that, he got all defensive and claimed he was just updating the system. I then asked for the last three digits of my NHS number, and he just hung up. No doubt about it, this was a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS, asking if I’d had my Covid jab. Bit fishy if you ask me, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Another scammer trying their luck.

Got a call from this number where the bloke said he was from the NHS, asking if I’d done both my jabs and then started quizzing me about life insurance. Couldn’t really make much sense of what he was on about. I told him straight up that it sounded like a sales pitch for life insurance. Anyway, I've blocked the number now.

I got a call from an Asian man who sounded pretty convincing at first, asking if I’d experienced any side effects after a vaccine. Then he said he had to update my NHS records and started asking about my life insurance - who it was with and how much it cost me. I kept telling him it wasn’t his concern, but he kept cutting me off. Eventually, I said I was ending the call ‘cos I didn’t want to talk anymore. I stupidly ended up telling him I have insurance with AXA and how much I pay, but luckily I didn’t give out any other info.

Didn’t answer their questions properly and they ended up asking stuff about my insurance too! Pretty sure it’s a scam, so just be careful. They hung up after a bit. I had a call like this recently.

Then the call just ended suddenly. I honestly believed it was a legit call at first. I tried to ring him back but couldn’t get through. This morning, I phoned my surgery and they said they hadn’t contacted me at all. He called me on my mobile number.
