I’m a bit unsure if this call was genuine or not. Someone with an Indian accent phoned me, saying they were representing a company called Claim Guide. They mentioned I was due some PPI compensation. They asked for my passport or driving licence details to verify my identity. When I said I didn’t have them nearby, the caller told me they’d ring back later. I also asked why they were calling from a mobile number and why I hadn’t received any email, but they didn’t respond to those questions. Can anyone confirm if this sounds like a proper call? Cheers!
