They called saying my husband was in some kind of accident, but when I told them he definitely wasn't, they kept on, saying it must be me instead. I just ended the call after that.

They ring me on different numbers all the time, nearly every day, and I never pick up. I reckon I’ve blocked about 20 scammy numbers on my phone now.

I got a call from what sounded like one of those cold call companies, saying they’d been trying ages to reach me about some PPI claim. They said they had a final payout amount ready, but it all felt completely bogus. Total scammers, just trying to con people with lies and fake promises. Avoid them!
