Someone claimed to be from the high court, said he was an officer or something. I hung up straight away and then checked the number online.

Got a call for my 19 year old lad about a supposedly big debt he had to pay right away. They kept talking about Hertfordshire county court and said bailiffs would be at the door in an hour or so, just like some of the stuff I’ve read in others’ comments here. When I told them there was no way we could pay, the caller just hung up and told me to wait for the enforcement officers to arrive. Quite worrying, really.

got a call from this number today, and they said they were enforcement officers from the high court, saying they would be at my place in about an hour to collect some debt. when i asked them for any proof or details about the debt, they couldn’t give me any info and just ended the call. apparently, this is a common scam, and ive seen it listed on the high court enforcement officers association site. watch out for this one!

This was a nightmare! Some scammer called my elderly mum, saying she owed £199 every month for a whole year. They even went as far as threatening to show up at her house and take her stuff if she didn’t pay. They claimed they had a voice recording to prove who she was. Mum was absolutely terrified by the whole thing.

So i got a call today from someone saying they were bailiffs coming to my shop. then yesterday, a different mobile number called me with pretty much the same story, and i've seen other people saying those numbers are used by folks pretending to be bailiffs.

I got a call saying that unless I paid £3000 straight away, bailiffs would turn up at my house and I'd get a CCJ that would stick around for 6 years. Proper stressful stuff!
