Got a text from 07464 807609 saying I’d got a parking ticket from some council but didn’t say how much. It warned if I didn’t follow the link and pay in 14 days, the fine would go up by 50%. It also threatened court action with bigger fines and court fees if I ignored it. I replied asking when and where this supposedly happened and for details about the car, but my message couldn’t be sent. Tried calling the number back but nobody picked up. Looks like a scam to me, so be careful and don’t click on any links in these texts.

Got a message from this number saying I owe money for a parking fine from some council I’ve never heard of. Feels like a total scam to me.
