Today I got a call from this number claiming to be Amazon, saying they were checking about my iPhone 15 delivery. Thing is, I never ordered one and wouldn’t even bother. I played along just out of curiosity to see what he’d say next. When he started talking about a delivery fee, I told him I have Amazon Prime and usually don’t pay for delivery on orders over a set amount. He ended the call pretty fast after that.

So today, 2nd March 2022 around 12:02pm I got a call from this number. A bloke with a proper English accent was asking me about servicing my washing machine. When I looked up the number, it flagged it as a likely appliance-related scam. Digging deeper, I traced the dialling code and it led me to some place called Karaula, which is in Rajasthan, up North India. Quite suspicious, honestly.

Got a call from someone trying to sell me insurance for my household gadgets, said it was a renewal thing but I’ve never even taken it out before. Pretty sure it was a scam.
