Some bloke rang me claiming he was Julio, threatening to get my family caught up in something dodgy. I quickly realised it was a scam and just hung up straight away. Total extortion attempt.

I got a call from a guy who had an accent, said his name was Julio. He refused to say where he was calling from or why he was ringing me up. Didn’t even ask what my name was. Right off the bat, he started telling me I was in some sort of trouble and asked me to speak privately, warning that if I didn’t, my family would somehow get mixed up in it. It felt like some sort of scam or blackmail, so I just ended the call immediately. Too dodgy for me!
