About a year ago, I got a call from a guy with a really thick oriental accent. He seemed to already have some of my info and was fishing for more. The call got dropped, then he tried ringing me back. When I called the number myself, the network said it didn’t exist. Needless to say, I blocked him after that.

While I was on a call, I suddenly heard someone yelling in the back, "Get out, you little brat!" Then I was asked for my name, age, and where I live with a warning that no one would get hurt if I told them. I passed the phone onto my mum who told me to hang up straight away. After that, we heard a child screaming, "Stop hitting me!" and then a woman shouting, "Stop or I’m calling the cops!" It sounded like he might have knocked her out because after that, the phone was just abruptly put down.

My phone went off and when I picked up, there was just some murmuring in the background but no one actually talking to me. After a moment, a robotic voice came on and said something like 'Goodbye' before hanging up.

Some bloke from India rang me up asking to verify my name and address, both of which I confirmed were right. When I asked how he’d got hold of my details, he just said it was from some database or other?! I told him to delete my info immediately, and then he just cut me off. Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be doing a survey, asked me who I was and gave me a company name. After he double checked it was me, he asked if I was still living at my address. I told him I wasn’t about to share personal info unless I knew who he was. Twice today I got calls from this number, once while I was working and again during my tea. When I picked up, the caller didn’t give their name or say what company they were calling from. They asked me to verify my name and address - which they already had - and also wanted to know my age group. I wasn’t keen on giving that info and then the caller turned quite rude. When I pressed them about the reason for the call, they just said it was a survey, but in a really unfriendly way. I’d say steer clear and block it.

They seem to have all your details and are just trying to squeeze out more info. This number kept pestering me non-stop, even after I asked them to stop calling. So, I decided to mess with them a bit. Told them I was 55, living as a squatter in someone's loft without their knowledge, and that I pay £94 a month for my phone contract. Also said I was involved in a massive 25-car crash where loads of people died. The “advisor” got pretty frustrated and was about to hang up, then I told them I was making it up and just dropped the call. Honestly, it made my day a bit more amusing.

Today, I got three calls - once from Italy with the +39 code and twice from a UK number. When I told them I’d asked to get my number taken off their list and that the police were already aware, they just laughed it off. I even warned them I’d take legal action, but they didn’t seem bothered at all. I’ve reported everything to Action Fraud and the police, and blocked their numbers. Still, I’ve a feeling this isn’t the last time I’ll be hearing from these lot.

Been getting calls from this number, twice today and the same amount the day before. After looking it up here, I’ve decided to block it. Got a call today from someone who seemed to know absolutely everything about me - my full name, where I live, even my phone number. They said it was some sort of survey but what they were asking about made no sense to me, even after they repeated it twice (their English was awful). Then they started asking if I was in the house right now and if I was renting. Honestly, it freaked me out so much! When I asked who they were and how they got all my details, they just cut off the call. Really creepy and feels super risky!

Today they called me three times, sounded like they had an Indian or Pakistani accent. They already knew my name and where I live, which was a bit creepy. Then the bloke started asking if I was single and who else was living at my place. I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times because it was hard to understand. When I said the questions were way too personal, he just ended the call. Later on, he rang again, so I told him I'd already picked up and hung up earlier. Haven't heard a peep from them since then.

Today I got a call from Italy, the number was +39 0746 3804966. Then later, the same digits showed up but as a local mobile number, 07463 804 966. There was also a third call coming through as +07463804966. All the calls were from basically the same number, just displayed differently each time.

Just like others have said, it was a bloke with an Indian accent who already knew my name and job title. He kept insisting his survey would only take 40 seconds. When I asked who he was, he said “Choose Lifestyles.” I told him no, explained I was busy at work, then ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

I've been getting loads of calls from this person or whoever it is - proper harassment really. They ring me like 5 or 6 times a day, every day, no break. I blocked their number, but then they started calling on Viber instead! It's just annoying beyond belief. Honestly, I'm thinking about just changing my phone number.

So I got a call from Choose Lifestyle, and they already had my name, address and mobile number. They said they were doing some kind of survey and wanted to know if I was married and if I owned my house. When I asked who was behind the call, the guy just kept insisting it was Choose Lifestyle and got really pushy. Then he just cut me off. I've blocked the number now. I always make sure to opt out of having my info shared, so I'm pretty uneasy about how they got hold of my details.

This number has been calling me like mad - at least a dozen times in just a few days! I picked up twice, hoping it might be someone I know or maybe a work-related call. But it turned out to be a bogus company that somehow had way too much info on me. I calmly told them to stop contacting me, and they just hung up. I’ve got this app called t####er on my phone that picks up who’s calling and if loads of people flag a number as spam, it can send the call straight to voicemail. This particular number popped up as "Choose Lifestyle". Over the last three days, they rang me about seven times but each call went straight to voicemail because of the app. Weirdly, they never left a single message. Today, I decided to ring them back using the “call sender” option in the voicemail. But when I tried, it said the number wasn’t recognised at all. Pretty strange behaviour if you ask me.

It felt pretty dodgy, so I decided to humour him and just keep him talking to kill time. I even said I was recording everything and would report it to the police, just for a laugh. Later that evening, around 7ish, I got another call from the same number. Luckily, I checked this website I normally use and ended up blocking him straight away.
