Got a call from this number on a Saturday, saying my internet was being used illegally or something. They told me to open my phone, find an app called ‘quick support’, and put in my password while they guided me through it. I didn’t do it though, seemed dodgy to me. If they were my internet company, why were they ringing from a private number? I’d have thought they’d send an email before all this. They even threatened to cut off my internet if I didn’t comply with their steps to “secure” it. Seemed like a right scam to me.
