Got a call saying there was some dodgy activity on my credit card, like someone was buying stuff from Amazon without me knowing. Total scam, obviously.

My boyfriend got a text from this number, the person said her name was Bella and she lived in Ireland. Apparently she’s half Korean and half Irish, runs a nail salon there or something. They ended up flirting, and it actually led to us splitting up. I’m really thrown off though, because I just found out this might be some kind of HMRC scam? It doesn’t add up.

Got a call from someone sayin they were from HMRC, tellin me I was in trouble with tax fraud and had an arrest warrant. When I asked if it’s normal for HMRC to ring on a mobile, they just ended the call. Definitely a scam, dont fall for it!

I wasn’t quick enough to pick up before the call ended. Seeing the other comments, it’s probably one of those dodgy debt help calls again. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
