Got calls lately off a bloke saying he’s from some ‘financial advice’ service. It’s always him but he rings from loads different numbers and pretends to be from different debt help places. I’ve started picking up and waiting till he asks for me by name, then I tell him I’m dead - even made up some weird accident I ‘died’ in recently. Still, the calls don’t stop! It’s proper weird.

Absolute scam call centre from India, keep ringing me over ten times daily using loads of fake numbers. They say they're from all sorts - health services, debt counsellors, British Medical Association, you name it. I reckon they snagged my info from a payday loan form I filled out last week because the calls kicked off right after. Honestly, I dunno who would fall for their nonsense, but maybe their idiots get paid peanuts or something. Thankfully, my phone’s spam filter blocks them now so they’re getting nowhere. Make sure you report these dodgy calls like I did using my Android.

I’m really thankful for this site because I’ve been getting overwhelmed with strange numbers ringing me constantly, and I just don’t pick up. I just had my 70th birthday a couple of weeks ago, and ever since, there’s been a flood of calls every single day. It’s usually about 10 to 20 times daily, and when I check who it was, it’s all scammers. It’s baffling why I suddenly started getting so many. Since I ignore the calls, I can’t really leave any feedback on the numbers either.

I've been getting loads of calls every day from all sorts of different numbers, with them saying I signed up for some debt help. The most recent one was some bloke who said his name was 'Adam Smith' but he hung up the minute I told him I'm on the TPS list. Honestly, TPS doesn’t seem to do much to block these annoying calls.

A woman rang saying she was from the UK health department, wanting to talk about my covid jabs. I asked which health department exactly and she insisted it was the UK one. I told her I wasn't sharing any details and that if they were legit, they would already have access to my vaccine records. Got a call from this number about five days ago, they were asking about my experience with my doctor’s surgery and some health insurance stuff. I told them I was quite unhappy because I saw someone having their leg amputated right in the waiting area, and the place was so understaffed that the receptionist was doing prostate checks at the desk. Oh, and she somehow lost her wedding ring there too. They just went quiet and ended the call, so I blocked the number after that.

I checked a few of these 074 numbers online and the comments all say the same thing. Seems like some massive call centre trying to rip people off. A guy with an Indian accent called me asking if I’d taken the COVID vaccine and questioned me about my life insurance. He claimed he already had my details but needed to double-check. He said something about the government offering extra benefits based on my insurance. At one point, he gave me the wrong postcode and then asked for my correct one, which I refused to share. He kept insisting he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. I told him I wasn’t interested in answering, then ended the call.
