We got scammed by someone selling kittens. They gave us an address that was three hours drive away, and after we paid, they just blocked us. Honestly, don't trust this number if you're looking for a kitten!

I had something similar go down and it totally wrecked my Christmas. This woman said her son was in hospital and things were really grim, mentioned a CT scan and that her hubby would be back by 4. I felt awful for her but still went out to pick up the kitten. Honestly, I hope you get what’s coming to you, Elise! Faking stuff like that is just low. Number was 07521753948.

This woman seriously needs to be stopped! So many of us have been tricked by her. I believe karma's gonna catch up with her sooner or later.

Totally a scam, no doubt about it. I caught on pretty quickly and managed to recover a big chunk of what I lost. She kept bombarding me with pics and clips trying to convince me the kitten was legit. I just blocked her and ended up getting a gorgeous black kitten elsewhere, without even saying a word. NEVER send a deposit before seeing the animal in person. Don’t trust videos as proof. Insist on seeing the kitten face to face. They’ll usually disappear if you do. If you can’t visit in person, only use websites with secure payment systems, like Homes 4 Pets or similar.

07521 753948 - Elise Gibbins. BEWARE, DON’T SEND CASH FOR KITTENS! This scammer tricked me out of £65 - I paid £45 as a deposit and then £20 more for 'shots' because she supposedly needed extra money before Christmas. After that, I drove over 50 miles to collect the kitten only to find someone at the address who didn’t know her at all. I just can’t understand why anyone would do this, especially when I told her it was meant to be a surprise for my kids at Christmas. I feel absolutely stupid and heartbroken :(

Got scammed by someone called Elise Gibbons from the number 07521 753948. I paid £100 as a deposit for two kittens I was meant to pick up today. Something felt off though, the replies to my texts about where the kittens were kept were dodgy and kind of vague. Really kicking myself for not looking up the number here before sending the money!

Proper bummed out my daughter’s Christmas as she was so excited. Now my poor 9-year-old is really upset. I seriously hope she gets what’s coming to her!

Honestly, don’t fall for her. It’s a total con. Even after I showed her this page I found, she sent pics of my name alongside a kitten, always replying quickly and seemed so legit! Claimed to live at 111 Portland Street, Exeter. But when I went there, some bloke answered who had nothing to do with any kittens. Then she had the audacity to text me claiming she knew where I was, accused me of being wrong, and tried sending me on a wild goose chase round Exeter before blocking me. Yeah, I ended up paying a deposit - she really should be stopped. The number she used was 07521753948.

Watch out, this woman’s definitely running a con! I paid £30 upfront for a Maine Coon crossed with Tortie kitten, female. Then she wanted another £20, claiming it was to feed her children and that it would go towards the kitten’s cost. Only today did I manage to track down where the number came from - totally stunned by what I found. I’ve already reported her to the cops. Be careful, Elise Ivy Gibbins is not to be trusted!

A woman named Elise Ivy Gibbons got in touch after spotting my ad on pets4homes where I was searching for a kitten. She sent me some photos that looked fairly legit and requested a £50 deposit. We set up a meeting for me to pick up the kitten at a place in Swindon. When I turned up, there was no sign of her. I’d driven all the way there and then she just disappeared on me. Total scam.

Got a text from someone about a male ragdoll kitten for £300 after I posted a wanted ad. They used pics and details lifted straight from other listings on Pets4Homes. Then they said their phone was broken so couldn’t do a video call to show the kitten. Total scam, stay well clear of this one!

Today I got a message from someone saying this was her mate’s phone number, asking me to send money for a bank deposit to reserve a kitten I’d put up for sale on free ads. I’ve already reported it to free ads. She’s calling herself Louella Eliza Gibbons at the moment, and just gave me the number 07450274495 - even though earlier she said her phone was out of order when I asked for contact details. She also gave a dodgy address for picking up the kitten, and when I questioned it she swore it was right.
