I saw this con on BBC 1’s show ‘Scam Interceptors’ over on iPlayer. Definitely a must-watch if you’ve got a bank account, it’s pretty terrifying. These fraudsters have some impressively clever setups. There’s also a broader scam show on Channel 5 available via My5. If you get any dodgy calls, you can report them by texting 7726.

I got a robo call claiming to be from my bank asking me to authorise a £900 transaction. As soon as I realised it was dodgy, I ended the call straight away. Total scam.
