I got a call from this number, and the guy claimed to be from TalkTalk’s customer service. Since I’d just posted a complaint on TalkTalk’s Facebook, I figured it might be genuine. But then he started saying I was due some compensation and asked me to install an app called Lemfi, which is supposed to transfer money. I told him that TalkTalk usually credits any compensation directly to your account or bill, not through some app. That’s when he turned rude and said his name was John Stewart.
