I just got a robo call saying it was from Amazon Prime, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I’ve never shared my landline with them (checked my account to be sure), so not convinced it’s legit.

I did a bit more digging and it’s clearly a scam. They promise some amazing offer, then claim it’ll renew on its own unless you chat with some fake account manager. A couple of things I found out for sure: The real Amazon doesn’t use the phone number that contacted me (it was a landline meant for emergencies). And from my experience with genuine Amazon calls, they never ring from mobile numbers and the calls aren’t usually from local areas either.
