Got a call I didn’t pick up on the 17th of July, and then the same number called again today, the 24th. After seeing what people said here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Been getting calls from Black Pearl for ages now, pretty much since the middle of last summer. It's definitely a PPI fraud, just like others have said here. Very annoying!

On 19th October 2016, just like others have said, I got the same call at 9.56am. I replied with a message asking who it was but never got any answer. After that, I just blocked those annoying people.

Got a call from 01494 372299 somewhere near High Wycombe, didn’t answer it. Later on, received a message from 07460 130553 saying “I tried ringing you, can you call me back please.” Sounds like one of those PPI or claim scams to me.

Got a message that said 'I’ve been trying to reach you - give me a ring back' or something like that. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a text saying 'I’ve been trying to reach you, can you ring me back?' So I asked who it was. Then the reply was 'It’s Jo, mind giving me a quick ring?' But I don’t know anyone named Jo. After that, another message popped up saying 'We talked some time ago, when’s a good time to chat?' I told them their number is flagged as a scam. Haven’t heard a thing since. Went ahead and blocked the number.

I didn’t reply or ring back because it seemed fishy. If it was someone I knew, their name would have showed up on my phone. Feels like a nasty and really low tactic to me.

Just got a call from a number I didn’t recognise and freaked out, thinking it was my ex. I quickly replied before realising it wasn’t him. Honestly, I didn’t need that stress right now when I’m already struggling. I’m flagging this as harassment because for me, this kind of thing hits hard mentally. Thanks a lot, scammers, for messing with my head. Proper creepy behaviour.

Something similar happened to me! On 11/10/2016 around 4:56 pm, I got a text saying, "I TRIED RINGING YOU - CAN YOU CALL ME BACK PLEASE?" I asked back, "WHO IS THIS?" but didn't get any reply. Then the next day, 12/10/2016 at 8:48 am, another message arrived saying, "WHEN'S A GOOD TIME TO CALL TO EXPLAIN?" Honestly, you’d think people would use their time better to learn something useful, instead they just waste their time and ours too. Absolutely crazy!

Just like everyone else here, I messaged asking who it was and all I got back was “explain”. They left a quick voicemail too, just a simple hello, but you could hear what sounded like a call centre buzzing in the background.
