Got a call from this number, some bloke claiming loads of folks were on our internet. When I told him no, he just snapped and said I should die. Said his name was Victor or something. Honestly, steer clear of this one.

I got a call from a bloke saying he was from some tech support and wanted me to grab my phone so he could help stop others from using my internet. I told him I’m 89 and that my internet company should sort that out. Then he just gave up and ended the call.

i got a call from some bloke saying he was from bt about my broadband. he told me loads of people were stealing my internet and said i had to let him log into my pc. but i don’t even have bt, so i just ended the call. he rang back a few more times but i didn’t pick up, then he stopped. definitely sounds like a con to me, otherwise he’d have realised i’m not a bt customer straight away. if they were legit, why wouldn’t they use a bt number to call?
