I got a message from 0745 983 8825 saying I owed a parking fine. They warned that if I didn't pay up to the council, I might face extra fees or even legal trouble. The text included a link to click on with my car registration to see the debt. The weird bit is, I haven't owned a vehicle in decades - like 30 years! I can imagine this would have freaked out anyone who actually drives.
