Got a robo call from this number saying my Amazon account is gonna be charged £71 and if that’s wrong, press 1. First off, I’m Andy, not gullible. Second, I’ve never had an Amazon account and never will. Total scam!

Got a call from a lady with a strong Indian accent saying she was from Amazon's security team - on a UK mobile number, no less. She told me I'd supposedly ordered an iPhone for just £4.99 and asked if I wanted to cancel it. Oddly, she insisted my name was completely different. I told her I’m pretty sure I know my own name, and hung up before it got any weirder. Looks like they were fishing for login info or passwords. Total muppets.

Got a call on my mobile from someone saying my Amazon Prime was about to renew automatically. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to a manager to cancel it. I just ended the call straight away. I don’t even have an Amazon Prime subscription. Love shopping with Amazon, but Prime isn’t something I’m interested in.

Got a call on my mobile on 1st October 2022. The person said my Amazon Prime was going to renew automatically and if I wanted to stop it, I should press 1 to talk to a manager. I ended the call straight away. I do like Amazon but I don’t have a Prime account and don’t want one either.

This number called me about some "iPad" order supposedly from Amazon. She kept pushing that I made the purchase, but I just told her there’s no way I’m that daft and ended the call. :)

Some woman with an Indian accent called me, claiming I'd won an iPad from Amazon. Sure, like that's gonna happen!

My partner got a call about an iPad supposedly being ordered with our phone number. They asked her to download TeamViewer to get access to the phone, but luckily she got suspicious and cut the call off. Sounds like a proper scam so watch out for calls like this!
